Summer Piano Tuning Appointments Available

Piano Care
It's that time again. Time to tune your piano. Now is a great time to get your piano in tune during the heat of the summer when the climate conditions are extreme. Your piano will perform best under consistent conditions neither too wet nor dry, optimally at a temperature of 68 degrees F and 42 percent relative humidity.

New Pianos
Due to string stretching, settling, and the effects of climate, a new piano should receive at least four tunings in the first year.

Routine Maintenance
All pianos are recommended to be tuned at minimum of twice a year.

$100 Standard Tuning includes:

- Diagnostic Inspection*
- Thorough Interior/ Exterior Cleaning
- Standard Tuning

* Any further work, including, action regulation and voicing of the piano will be addressed after the diagnostic inspection. Any necessary repair work or refinishing of the piano will also be discussed at this time.

Typically, a standard tuning session takes about 2 hours. Please plan for a quiet 2 hour period of time when scheduling appointments. The rule of thumb is "the quieter the space, the better the tune."

Call today to schedule an appointment. I'd be happy to recommend a maintenance schedule customized for your instrument.
